Chanscamp is no nonsense, no fluff, no gimmicks — just effective workouts. This class is designed to improve your overall fitness level as it focuses on the 5 components of physical fitness: body composition, muscular endurance, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility. The foundations of this class are influenced by many training philosophies. You will become more powerful as you improve your muscular strength and endurance.

The heart is a muscle and Chanscamp is programmed to develop this muscle and improve its functionality. Participants will train in their proper heart rate zone in most classes not only to improve heart health cardiovascular endurance but muscular endurance as well.

Train primarily using free weights. Free weights, especially dumbbells, not only improve strength but also help promote muscle balance and increase range of motion, simply by their unstable nature.
Most classes you can expect to see compound exercises and to train “explosively”. This type of lifting can improve your overall strength and power, increase metabolism, and improve fitness — not to mention benefits for balance, range of motion, and flexibility.

There are 4 phases of Chanscamp:
Open Camp: Open to anyone.
Series 1: Open to anyone.
Series 2: Open to graduates of Series 1.
Series 3: Open to graduates of Series 2.
