Fitness has been my passion for over 20 years however I never learned it’s true place in my life until 2012. My triplets were 2 years old, I was still battling to loose the 70 lbs I had gained during pregnancy, I was sluggish, tired and a very unhappy person. I knew in my heart what I needed to do however the mountain I had to move seemed unmovable.
I became committed to my health and wellness that fall and one day at a time discovered it is so much more than just the physical body. As my body became stronger I became a new person…happier, more energetic, able to handle the stresses my life brought better, and able to be a better mom to my children. My journey back “to me” taught me that true wellness can change your mind, not just your body.
My passion in life is to bring these changes to each individual ready to commit to wellness. Change is hard especially today when we are so overwhelmed with life’s commitments. I am here to encourage, guide and show you it can be done one step at a time.
I have worked with a variety of men and women ranging from new to fitness, recovering from injuries, runners / racers, and moms trying to get strong for their families. I am familiar with multiple variations for every exercise we do and can tailor the workout specifically to your needs.
I am an avid runner who has completed 3 marathons and 11 half marathons. I am certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. I also hold certification in Practical Yoga, Mossa Group Power, and GEAR Indoor Cycling. My personal motto is “It’s not your body that says you can’t, it’s your brain”.
