Each year The 360° Approach strives to improve the health and wellness of the Durham Community. At 360 we understand wellness is much more than physical health, exercise or nutrition. It is the full integration of states of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The model used by 360 includes social, emotional, spiritual, environmental and physical wellness with the knowledge that each of these, act and interact in a way that contributes to our own quality of life.

Individuals and families right here in the city of Medicine suffer from obesity and are susceptible to heart disease, diabetes, stroke and other chronic illnesses in addition to stress and depression that affect quality of life. Recent studies show that Americans at all income levels are less healthy than those with incomes higher than their own. The disparities in the U.S. identified between high- and low-income population is one the largest income-based health disparities in the world.

As a small business committed to the health and well-being of our community, we have offered fitness programs, educational opportunities and access to services at reduced rates or free of charge. Some of these services include six Community Living Well Programs, three Church Programs and numerous Community Workouts and Classes.

As we move into our 2nd year of operations our goal is to generate community support and awareness of our mission by hosting a Formal Affair: Supporting Our Vision of a Fitter Durham Community.

To make this happen, we’re asking for your financial support. Your donation to The 360° Approach will go towards funding for:

  • Community Wellness Programs
  • Replacement Equipment
  • Cardio Equipment

Your contributions will influence the health of our community, and we hope we can count on your help! We look forwarding to dancing and celebrating our community, our work and our future!

With great appreciation,

A Formal Affair: Supporting Our Vision of a Fitter Durham Community

August 13th, 6:00-8:00pm

Location: Beyù Caffè

One of the murkier dress codes, men are given the option of either wearing a tuxedo or a suit and a tie/bowtie. The dress code is more open for women too, who can wear anything from a long dress to a cocktail number. Think of it like this: It’s your adult prom, have fun, be creative and make an effort.
